Opening Prayer in unison: Faithful God, with joy we gather in this space. There are times when joy is the furthest thing from our minds and we are burdened by the weight of the world. In this time of worship, remind us again of the joy you have given to us. Speak to us again those words that warm our heart and transform our life. We come to you in the name of Christ, AMEN.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. We pray you might allow us to see beyond these things and focus our hearts on those things that bring joy to life. We praise and thank you for the joy you have placed in us.
