Holy God, as we gather in worship, our hearts are full of gratitude to you. We come proclaiming and professing your love and your grace. In this time of celebration, we offer thanks for the nation in which we live and we pray that our land might have no ruler but God and no law higher than that of Love.
We give you praise and thanks in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Prayer of Thanksgiving:
Loving God, we are grateful for all your gifts. You pour out your grace in such an array of ways. We bring our offerings to you in gratitude and in love. We pray that you might pour out your Spirit upon these gifts; in Your sight may they be holy and blessed.
We offer them in the name of Christ, AMEN.
