Call to Worship:
Leader: Even in the darkness, the voice of God calls out to each of us.
People: We have heard the voice of the Lord calling to us.
Leader: This voice invites us to come to God, and to follow Jesus.
People: And so we come, not knowing where we might be going, but seeking to follow.

Opening Prayer: O Lord, so often we pray that you would be present with us; as if you are not already wherever we are. This day, Lord, we pray that we might be present, with all that we are. May we be attentive to your Spirit and the teachings you seek to impart to us this day. Enable us to hear you in the depth of our soul. We praise and thank you for this time to worship and pray that you might use it, and us, for the glory of your holy name. We pray all things in the name of Christ, our Lord, AMEN.

Prayer of Thanksgiving: Almighty God, giver of every good and perfect gift, teach us to offer to you all that we have and all that we are, that we might praise you with every fiber of our being. Help us to turn every part of our life–the duties, the joy, and the sorrows–into a living sacrifice to you. We offer our sacrifice now to you in the name of Christ the Lord, AMEN.
