Call to Worship:
Leader: Sing praises to the Lord, you faithful ones of God,
People: and give thanks to God’s holy name.
Leader: To the Lord we have cried and made our needs and wants known,
People: and the Lord has clothed us with joy and turned our weeping into dancing.

Opening Prayer: Lord, you know what we need long before we ask for it. We claim to need so many things, yet all we really need is you and all you have to offer to us. Lord, help us to open ourselves to what you wish to give to us. We give ourselves completely to you in this hour; in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Prayer of Thanksgiving: Lord, you have entrusted us with one another. It is humbling to know that you have asked us to tend to the well-being of each other. There are times when that task seems beyond our abilities. Fill us with compassion for one another; allow us to be your witnesses to your compassion. May these gifts we offer be used by you to help heal this broken world. We offer them to you in the name of Christ the Lord.

Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
