Advent Meditation
Opening Prayer:
As we enter this Advent season, O God, we look forward to the celebration of our Lord’s coming. In the days ahead, we pray you might grant us the grace to come before your throne with all that we are; that we might worship you with every fiber of our being. You alone are worthy of our worship, O God. Be glorified in
our worship now and in all our tomorrows. We offer our worship in Christ’s name, AMEN.

Prayer of Thanksgiving:
God, your love is extravagant; your grace is beyond comprehension. These days leading to Christmas remind us of that over and over again. Because you have loved us beyond measure, it is our joy to love you and worship as fully as we can. We offer these gifts as part of our worship.
Take them, bless them, and use them, we pray; in Christ’s name, AMEN.

Prayer
Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
